Personnel Committee

Committee Mission: The Personnel Committee’s mission is to establish and maintain personnel and staff arrangements to further the church’s mission. 

Committee Member Role:

Members of the committee:

  • Attend monthly meetings.

  • Work on creating the annual personnel budget.

  • Represent the committee in staff hiring and searches.

  • Serve as a resource to the Lead Minister, as chief of staff, on staff issues and transitions. 

  • Receive sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. 

Amount of Time Committed: 5 hours per month (during staff transitions, the time commitment usually increases)

Typical Meeting Schedule: One meeting a month.

Average Number of Committee Members: 4 people
