Rev. Cynthia Riggin was called to be the Minister of Congregational Life at Macalester Plymouth United Church in August of 2022. Ordained in the United Church of Christ, Rev. Riggin brings a wealth of experience having served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years in both the Pacific Northwest and here in the Twin Cities. Rev. Riggin communicates authenticity and passion through a progressive understanding of scripture and Christianity. She connects easily with all ages. In her introductory letter to the congregation Cynthia wrote of her excitement to “co-create a more just, compassionate, loving and generous world” with the congregation, “which all begins in our hearts.”
