SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE FOR CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN GREATER SAINT PAUL BY THE NUMBERS
Each year, Interfaith Action of Greater St. Paul collects new backpacks, calculators, and other school essentials to benefit school children from low-income families being served through seven different programs throughout Greater Saint Paul. Just one of these partners, the St. Paul Public Schools, serves nearly 2,000 students each year who experience homelessness. Last year, together with over 20 area faith communities, plus individual donors, thousands of dollars in school supplies were collected, filling hundreds of backpacks for local students in need.
