On April 13, 2025, Macalester Plymouth United Church will receive the One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) offering. Each of our denominations receives half of MPUC's offering, to be used in a huge variety of projects world-wide.

For this year, the Presbyterian emphasis will be on the concept "Love Repairs the Breach" (Isaiah 58). OGHS in previous years supported ministries of food and water and rebuilding villages after disasters. 

The UCC OGHS emphasis will be loosely organized around the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount. Those present heard Jesus talking directly to their own situation–the poor in spirit, those who mourn, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
