Celebrating Dustin Moretz

I invite you to join me in giving thanks for Dustin's faithful service as our Youth Community Builder over the past two years. Dustin will wrap up his time as Youth Community Builder at the end of May. 

As you know, Dustin is in Seminary, and part of his requirements is to engage in an internship, not at his home church, MPUC. Therefore, this summer, Dustin will complete his required Clinical Pastoral Education at a local hospital and then jump into his internship at another local UCC congregation in the fall. His internship site will be finalized by the end of this month.

After Dustin shared this news at youth group, we paused to acknowledge the tears and sadness and offer our gratitude for Dustin. 

We thank Dustin for his grounded, life-giving spirituality, playful spirit, attentive presence, and ability to connect deeply with the youth. 

During worship on Sunday, May 21, we will celebrate and give thanks for Dustin.
