The View from Here

by Rev. Cynthia Riggin, Minister of Congregational Life

I hope, beloveds, you are experiencing a renewing and rejuvenating summer. Enjoying the sweet breeze rustling the leaves, partaking of the bounty of your gardens, and sitting on your porch, or deck, or looking out your window noticing the bumblebees, monarch butterflies, and robins. Inviting a downshift, a letting go, a clearing of mind and heart space. Recently, as I engaged this spiritual practice, a song bubbled up, a song that has traveled with me for many years. Reminding me, inviting me to continue showing up and working for freedom and liberation, love and justice for all peoples and creation. I offer this to you, my beloved congregation, with much gratitude for being on the journey with you.
