Pledge and Support the Church in 2025
Last Sunday was Pledge Sunday, when we started receiving pledges toward the 2025 budget. A pledge is both practical and symbolic.
Practically, a pledge is a financial commitment that helps the church keep the lights on, pays our dedicated staff, and supports ministries like the youth choir, racial justice team, and the women's spirituality group. This year, the Finance committee believes a 3% increase in pledges over last year will help us cover basic increases.
Symbolically, a pledge can be a way to express gratitude, or represent a renewed commitment to your own spiritual life and growth. This year, a pledge also feels like a way to resist hate and stand for love, resist isolation and fear and stand for community, resist selfishness and stand for the greater good. It really doesn’t matter how much money you can pledge. What matters is your participation in and support of the church in 2025.
If you have not yet pledged, you can either pick up a pledge card in the church office the next time you are there or you can fill out a pledge form online by clicking here. Thank you for your generosity and support!
