Stewardship Team

Committee Mission:  Conduct the annual financial stewardship campaign by informing and engaging the congregation.

Committee Member Roles:  

  • Work with the minister to consider themes and approaches

  • write letters to the congregation

  • write articles and updates for the Here and Now

  • find speakers for worship, track incoming pledges

  • write hand-written thank you notes

  • provide reminders to members as needed

  • develop a projected overall pledge amount for the Budget Committee and Session 

Members divide up the tasks, so each member works on 2-3 items.  

Amount of Time Committed: 5-10 hours per month (mostly for the months of September-December)

Typical Meeting Schedule:  3-5 meetings in the August - January time frame. No set schedule.  

Average Number of Committee Members:  3-5 members
