Once again, MPUC will be the host church for the annual CROP Hunger Walk in Saint Paul. We’ll be walking down Summit Ave to Saint Paul’s United Church and then back to MPUC. Registration begins at 12:30 pm, and the walk starts at 1:15 pm.

Funds raised are used to end hunger locally and globally. Examples of what donations contribute to are:

$25 Dignity kit for women and girls

$45 Biosand water filter

$60 Bee hive

$75 Groceries for a refugee family

$115 Family latrine

$150 Climate change adaptive seeds

$235 An acre of sweet potatoes

$400 Fuel-efficient stove

$470 Cow

We need:

• participants to gather pledges and then go on the walk

• sponsors for individual walkers or the Macalester Plymouth team
