Iona Community, Scotland, Youthfest, July 31 - August 9, 2025

Congratulations Aria W. and Emerson R. on being chosen to participate in the high school student cohort traveling to Youthfest 2025 at Iona Abbey. The Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ is excited to sponsor 11 youth and 5 adults on this spiritual pilgrimage to the Isle of Iona, Scotland.

Youthfest is an annual gathering sponsored by the Iona Community, an international, ecumenical Christian movement working for justice and peace, the rebuilding of community, and the renewal of worship. Youthfest brings together young people from England, Scotland, Canada, the US, and other parts of the world for a week of connection, spiritual exploration, and intentional community. Each day offers opportunities to explore the island and community as well as what helps us grow and rise in our lives. Plus, there will be ample opportunities to enjoy beach time, art, hiking, music, service, and worship! Congratulations Aria and Emerson! We look forward to hearing about your grand adventure upon your return!
