June Session Report

Session met for its regular monthly meeting on June 15, 2023. Here are some of the highlights from that meeting:

  • Janeen McAllister gave an update on the Immigrant Welcoming Team, formerly the Sanctuary Leadership Team. Earlier this year, they did a retreat with Jonathan House which she said was very useful. The team continues to follow up with previous guests and work with our current guests. The team is looking for ways we might expand our capacity to help more immigrants.

  • The Personnel Committee is working with Adam to clarify his job duties and percentages of his time in each area. 

  • The Revenue Task Force shared their communication plan. The first report will go out to the congregation by the end of June 2023. Session members have submitted many fun and inventive 2023 fundraising ideas. The session will narrow them down to a few to try.
